These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the IdealGuard mobile application (the "App"), provided by Oleksandra Yudina, an individual developer ("we", "us", "our"). Oleksandra Yudina is the seller of the App on the App Store. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Important: your vault is protected by a passcode that only you know. We do not have a copy of it and cannot reset it. If you forget your passcode, or delete the App without a backup of your iPhone, the content of your vault cannot be recovered.

1. What the App does

The App helps you keep private content on your iPhone and manage your photo library. Its features include:

The App works on your device. It does not require an account and does not upload your content to any server.

2. Your passcode and your data

3. Important limitations

4. Break-in alerts

If you turn on break-in alerts, the App takes a photo with the front camera after several wrong passcode attempts. Photos are stored only in your vault. You are responsible for using this feature in line with the laws that apply to you, including any rules about photographing other people.

5. Your content and acceptable use

You own the content you store in the App. You agree not to use the App to store or share content that is illegal, including content that exploits minors, or to violate anyone's rights. We do not have access to your vault content.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

7. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the App, except as allowed by law.

8. Privacy

Your vault content, photos and text are processed on your device. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn what limited data we handle.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its design, text, graphics and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The "IdealGuard" name and logo may not be used without our permission.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will detect every sensitive screenshot or photo.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, including vault content, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Before deleting, move any content you want to keep out of the vault, and cancel any active subscription in your Apple ID settings. We may suspend or end your access to the App if you breach these Terms.
